Hu Shan Zhen Yi (langscape of lake and hill)

Walking out of the rear corner gate of Hua Zhong You, we can catch sight of the five-room-wide finishing house---Hu Shan Zhen Yi ( landscape of lake and hill ) located on the northern slope. Called Qingyinshan Hall when there was only the Qingyi Garden, it was burnt down in the war of 1860 and rebuilt in the Emperor Guangxu's reign.

It is an ideal place for us to look far into the distance as the red pillar, the lintel and the foundation form various" frames", looking out through which we can find diverse views, such as the rolling Yuquan hill in the west and the rippling Kunming Lake.
